Deena Odelle Hyatt is a performing artist, poet, and teacher who believes in the power of sound and music for healing. She is a trained vocalist and dancer and self-taught song-writer and sound healer.
She’s been band coach at Girls Rock Band, taught for several years at School For The Blind And Visually Impaired, and most recently at UCLA. She has been performing for a decade at live music venues, galleries, and museums such as The Corcoran Gallery of Art (DC), Art Museum of The Americas (DC), Mexican American Cultural Center (Austin), google i/o (San Francisco), Ceremony Hall (Austin), Descanso Gardens (LA), Show + Tell (LA).
