AD HOC is a quarterly concert series created to support already touring musicians coming through Los Angeles who have not yet secured a venue.

SASSAS presents the best experimental music to Los Angeles audiences through the sound. concert series, which requires months of advance planning. However, all too often SASSAS is approached by national and international touring musicians looking for venues to perform in Los Angeles with little advance notice. AD HOC was founded out of the belief that it benefits the greater Los Angeles community and the reputation of LA in the international sound community if these musicians are able to add Los Angeles to their tour schedule. The ongoing series was originally developed in collaboration with Human Resources (HRLA). AD HOC concerts have been presented at HRLA, Beacon Arts Building, Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, Atwater Crossing, and the West Hollywood Library Council Chambers.

AD HOC is a quarterly concert series designed to accommodate short term requests by national and international musicians who are already on tour and want to play in Los Angeles. For AD HOC concerts, SASSAS facilitates the use of venue, provides frontline technical support (PA, mixing board, sound engineer), and local promotion. Please note, due to our limited resources, SASSAS can only produce one AD HOC concert per quarter.

As of January 2016, SASSAS is not accepting inquiries for AD HOC.
