Electric Sound Bath is Brian Griffith and Ang Wilson. Our music is recorded with Singing Bowls, Bass Guitar, A Few Pedals, Some Crystals and Palo Santo. We view our act of creating music as a meditation itself and perhaps it will be helpful in your own practice. Brian performs on the bass guitar with the help of a few effect pedals, and Ang accompanies with a traditional Nepalese singing bowl, acoustic bells, found sounds and modular synth. Together we aim to bridge the gap between acoustic sound baths and amplified drones.

The songs take inspiration from ‘50s rock ’n’ roll and ‘80s new wave, finding whimsical and surreal ways to get even the grownup babies dancing. The band has completed three self-produced albums, with a fourth in the works that combines the carnivalesque with the long-forgotten radio drama. Their past performances have included California Institute of the Arts, The Roy O. Disney Concert Hall, The Troubadour, Scot Nery’s Boobie Trap, Heart of Art Gallery, The Big Space, Spotlight Arts Center, Cardio Arts, and many more! They just finished a summer residency at the California Institute of the Abnormalarts (CIA) in North Hollywood.
