Dan Clucas has performed and recorded extensively with his own bands as well as in long-standing collaborative units such as Dead Air Trio, DO TELL, and Brainchildren of Xenog.

Bruce Fowler is an American trombonist and composer. He played trombone on many Frank Zappa records, as well as with Captain Beefheart and in the Fowler Brothers Band.

Vinny Golia has been a featured performer with Anthony Braxton, John Carter, Bobby Bradford, Horace Tapscott, Bertram Turetzky, George Lewis, Barre Phillips, The Rova Saxophone Quartet, Patti Smith, and George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band, amongst many others.

Saxophonist Lynn Johnston has performed and recorded with: Cruel Frederick, Slovenly, Universal Congress Of, Motor Totemist Guild, 5UU’s, Steaming Coils, Eugene Chadborne, Richard Grossman, and others.

With a background in bebop, classical, and Latin based music, Alicia Mangan‘s saxophone playing has  a prominent presence in the avant garde jazz scenes of Southern California and beyond.

William Roper is a composer, performer and visual artist. He has fulfilled commissions from Dance L.A., the Gloria Newman Dance Theatre and has a long list of collaborations with recognized artists in video, theater, performance and dance.

Eric Sbar is a horn player and music educator who specializes in the euphonium, and has played it in various ensembles and solo efforts.

Wadada Leo Smith is a trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist, composer, improviser, and educator, active in creative contemporary music for over forty years.

Phil Teele is an extraordinarily prolific musician who has played brass on hundreds of film soundtracks and with such popular figures and groups as Frank Sinatra, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, and Freddie Hubbard.

Kris Tiner is a trumpeter, composer, improviser, and bandleader. He has toured and performed his own music throughout the U.S. and in Canada and West Africa, and has collaborated on numerous interdisciplinary projects.
