Caspar Sonnet is an experimental instrumentalist, singer-songwriter currently living in Los Angeles. Primarily self taught, his unusual song structures, instrumentation and haunting voice have been inspired by an array of eclectic sources, including: Native American mythology, Pre-war blues, Kabuki theatre, world music, Italian vocal composer Carlo Gesualdo, and minimalist composers John Cage & Morton Feldman. Sonnet continues his work which now includes voice, “prepared” acoustic lap-steel guitar & bowed percussion.
