soundSpark is a free, monthly new music series for young children featuring solo and duo performances by emerging artists. soundSpark takes place at 12pm on the first Saturday of every month. September’s concert will feature Anna Oxygen.

Anna Huff is a multi-media artist, composer and performer. She has extensively toured Europe and the United States under the name Anna Oxygen, performing dance pop recitals and interactive performance pieces. Best known for her aerobics live performances, she has released several albums of electronic and acoustic music, most recently “This is an Exercise” on indie label Kill Rock Stars. Her performance and video work has been presented at PS1 MOMA Contemporary, The Seattle Art Museum, NYU, The Hammer Museum, PICA, and the Rohsska Museet in Gothenburg, Sweden. At Calarts she co-founded media group Cloud Eye Control with director Chi-wang Yang, and animator/performer Miwa Matreyek. The group has performed at numerous festivals including the Images Festival in Toronto, FUSEBOX Festival in Austin, REDCAT in LA, Exit Festival in Paris , and TBA in Portland.
