TEST AUCTION PAGE FOR BLAST [14].

This is a test page for the Blast! [14] Getting It Covered auction!

How bidding works

Bidding begins on August 8. Bidding ends at 7pm on August 13.

Type the amount you want to bid into the bid window. Minimum bid increments vary according to value – works with starting bids under $500 have bid increments of $50 while works between $500 and $2500 have bid increments of $100, for instance.

The best way to insure a winning bid is to input the maximum amount you are willing to pay for each item. To do this, type the maximum amount you want to pay into the bid window.  The system will then generate a bid for the lowest possible amount. When you are outbid, our system will then automatically place bids on your behalf in the preset bid increments up to your maximum bid. Entering the maximum dollar amount is crucial as you will not be able to enter another maximum bid until you’ve been outbid. Bidders who fudge on their maximum bid lose when someone outbids them at the last minute and there isn’t sufficient time to enter a new bid.

Want to see the works in person? All auction works except for the John Baldessari are on display at Blum & Poe August 8 – August 12. The  Baldessari will go one display August 11. OR join us at Blum & Poe on August 13 for
